How to Change Build Material in Sons of the Forest
Simply use the crafting menu! Open it up, choose the material you want for your structure, and swap it out. Make sure you have enough of the new material though!

I play this game all the time鈥攋ust hit 'B' to open the construction book, then cycle through the material options. It's really straightforward once you get the hang of it!
Just click the material you want to use.
To change build materials, you need to switch between your inventory and crafting modes. Hit 'I' to open inventory, select the material you want, and then use it in your build. Easy peasy!
