Unfortunately, once you've named your dog in Stardew Valley, you're pretty much stuck with it unless you're willing to dive into the game files. For PC players, this means opening the 'Save' file in a text editor, searching for your dog's name, and changing it there. Remember to back up your save file first, just in case you make a mistake!

Rename your dog? Why? Just pretend it's a quirky nickname you gave your adorable virtual pet. Embrace your choices!

Actually, I just went with the first name that popped in my head and never looked back. Dogs love you no matter what you call them, even in Stardew Valley. ?

No official way to change pet names after you've set them, sadly. Gotta love them with whatever name you chose, quirks and all!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
