You can't change your eye shape in Splatoon 2. Your Inkling's eye shape is fixed based on the character.

No eye shape changes in Splatoon 2 but you can switch up your eye color!

Trying different gear is the best way to change up your look since eye shape isn't customizable.

I was bummed too! You can customize eye color though, so you aren't completely out of luck.
