You can't change your name directly in Overwatch settings. You have to log into Blizzard's account management page and change your BattleTag there.
I just did this! Sign in on the Blizzard website, click on Account Settings, then BattleTag, and hit the little edit button. Remember, you only get one free change. After that, it costs around $10.
