Changing world difficulty in Terraria isn't something you can do on the fly within the same world. Each world is locked to its chosen difficulty (Classic, Expert, Master, or Journey) at creation. However, if you're playing in Journey Mode, you can adjust the difficulty slider, which affects enemy health and damage, anytime during gameplay!

Nope, can't change it. You pick the difficulty when you create the world, and that's it. Want a tougher challenge or an easier time? You gotta start a new world. Kinda like life, only with more slimes.

Actually, there's a workaround if you're not afraid to get your hands dirty with mods. TEdit is a world editor for Terraria that some players use to tweak their worlds in ways not officially supported by the game, including changing the difficulty. Be careful, though; always back up your world before dabbling with mods or external tools!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
