I did this last month. Just go to 'account.microsoft.com/services,' find your Xbox Live subscription, and switch the billing period to yearly. It takes like two minutes!

You can change it directly on your Xbox console! Go to 'Settings,' 'Account,' then 'Subscriptions.' Select your subscription and change it to yearly. Simple as that!
