Another option is to connect your Xbox Series S to a different TV or monitor, change the settings there, and then reconnect it to your original display.

Give a different HDMI cable a shot. Sometimes it's the cable acting up, not the resolution.

You can reset the display settings on your Xbox Series S by turning it on using the power button and then immediately pressing and holding the Eject button until you hear a second startup chime. This will boot the console in low resolution mode (640x480). From there, you can navigate to the display settings and set the correct resolution.

Trust me, I've been there! Just hold the power button for 10 seconds to power it down, then press and hold both the power and bind buttons until you hear two startup sounds. This should reset to low resolution mode.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
