First, locate the Undertale save files on your computer. On Windows, it's usually in %localappdata%/UNDERTALE. Open the file named 'file0' with Notepad, then find and edit the part of the file that has your current name. Save and start the game. Voila!

Search for your Undertale save data, typically in %localappdata%/UNDERTALE for Windows users. Open 'file0' with a text editor, find your current name, change it, and save the file. Don't forget to back up your file just in case!

Open the 'file0' located in your game's directory, change the name string to whatever you want, and save it. Just don't mess with anything else unless you wanna risk a bad time!

Tweaking save files is risky. If you鈥檙e not careful, you might corrupt your save and lose progress. Proceed with caution!

Trust me, the easiest way to change your name in Undertale is by editing 'file0' using a text editor. That's how I did it!
