Changing your Pokemon card in Sword and Shield isn't exactly a thing because Pokemon cards and the Sword and Shield video game operate in totally separate universes! If you're looking to change your in-game team, you just need to catch new Pokemon or swap them out from your box at a Pokemon Center. But if you're talking about swapping cards in the Pokemon TCG, that's all about trading with friends or buying new packs to find the cards you want!

U can't swap a Pokemon card in Sword and Shield, lol. They're two different games, bro. Sword and Shield is a video game, and Pokemon TCG is a card game. Maybe you got a tad mixed up?

If you鈥檙e trying to 'change' a Pokemon card in the context of Sword and Shield, I think you might be a bit confused. Sword and Shield is a video game, and you can't directly use TCG cards in it. However, if you want to upgrade or change your team in Sword and Shield, catching more Pokemon or trading with friends in the game is the way to go!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
