Honestly, just stick with the auto region. The game does a good job of putting you where your connection is strongest. Plus, switching regions can sometimes give you a laggy experience, which is no fun when you're trying to clutch a win.

I switched my region once to play with friends overseas and it worked like a charm! Just a heads up, though, your ping might go up, so watch out for that. It can really change how the game feels and plays.

Changing your region in Apex Legends is pretty simple! When you're at the game's main menu, look for the Data Center option at the bottom of the screen. Here, you'll be able to see your current ping times to the game's various data centers around the world. Just select the region that suits you best, and bam, you're all set to drop in with a new crowd!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
