You need to dock it near a base with a thermal plant or solar panels, so the power cells automatically recharge. Worked for me every time.

Find thermal vents to use with the thermal reactor module for infinite recharges out in the wild. No base required!

Pro tip: Harvest those ion cubes and craft ion power cells. They last way longer and need less charging.

Just pop out the power cells from the sides of the Cyclops and recharge them using a power cell charger in your base or another Cyclops. Easy peasy!
