Honestly, just push forward. Your character does everything for you, like they're on auto-pilot for stairs. Can't get simpler than that!

Might seem like a silly question, but in GTA San Andreas, there's no 'climb' button for stairs. Just walk into them, and CJ handles the rest. Easy peasy.

Just walk or run towards them! Your character automatically climbs up or down stairs when you move towards them. No special buttons needed, just the good ol' forward movement. Keep on gaming!
