To complete the neutral route in Undertale, you need to defeat or spare any combination of monsters and bosses without meeting the criteria for the Pacifist or Genocide routes. Basically, just play the game however you want but don't lean too hard into being a saint or a sinner!

You can complete the neutral route by simply mixing up your gameplay - choose to spare some monsters and fight others. Enjoy the ride; it's worth exploring the Underground in different ways!

Just beat the game without going all-out murder spree or hugging every monster to death. You'll end up on the neutral route!

Here's a tip from personal experience: don't stress about your choices too much. I finished the neutral route by playing naturally on my first run. So go with your gut - you'll do great!
