I had the same issue! After some research, I found the headset works great on PC and PS5 but not Xbox. Bummer.

You'll need to connect using the 3.5mm audio jack to the Xbox controller. Otherwise, no dice as it’s primarily for PC/PS5!

Unfortunately, the Corsair HS80 is not directly compatible with Xbox Series X. You might need a third-party adapter!
