Easy peasy! If it's a wired controller, just plug it into a USB port, and Windows should automatically recognize it. If it's wireless, you need an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. Once you have that, plug it in, sync the controller by pressing the connect buttons, and you're good to go!
Plug in the wired controller via USB, and it should work instantly. For wireless, yeah, you'll need the gaming receiver. Don't forget the drivers!
Honestly, just switch to an Xbox One controller. It's so much easier to connect and works right out of the box with any Windows PC. Trust me on this one.
