I've done this by taking a series of screenshots while walking around their farm and then using those pics as a guide. It's kinda like a fun puzzle trying to match everything!
I recommend visiting their farm frequently and taking note of specific design elements you like. Then, go back to your farm and try to recreate those. It takes a bit of effort, but it's worth it for a unique and lovely farm!
You can't directly copy someone else's layout in Hay Day, but you can definitely get some inspiration! Try taking screenshots of the farm you like and then rearrange your own farm to match it. Just have fun tweaking things to your taste!
