Don't sweat it! Just play till you're a level 6 farmer. Check your crafting tab for the recipe (1 Iron Bar, 1 Refined Quartz, 5 Bat Wings) and bam—no more fried crops.

Crafting a Lightning Rod in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward. Once you hit Farming level 6, the game unlocks the recipe for you. You just need 1 Iron Bar, 1 Refined Quartz, and 5 Bat Wings. Mix them all up in your crafting menu, and voila! You're all set to protect your crops from those pesky lightning storms.

Lightning Rod? Piece of cake once you're farming lvl 6. Hit that milestone, grab the materials (iron bar, refined quartz, bat wings), and craft away. Saves your farm every time a storm rolls in, 10/10 recommend.

Honestly, just reach level 6 in farming. If you can't craft it yet, you're not there. It's a rite of passage.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
