Crafting skins in Apex Legends is all about using Crafting Metals! You get these metals by opening Apex Packs, which you can earn by playing the game or buying them. Once you've got enough Crafting Metals, just head to the Legends tab or the Loadout tab in the main menu, select the Legend or weapon you want a skin for, and if you have enough metals, you can craft the skin you want.

Imo, crafting skins is a waste of Crafting Metals unless it's for a skin you REALLY want. Better save them for something else.

Just grind and open those Apex Packs! Only way to get Crafting Metals. Then, pick your skin and craft it. Easy peasy.
