Actually, you're kinda outta luck here. GTA 5 doesn't let you customize helicopters in story mode. Kinda bummer, I know. Would've been cool to pimp out a chopper.

Nope, GTA 5 doesn't give you the option to customize helicopters in story mode. Would've been epic though!

Sorry to burst the bubble, but you can't customize helicopters in GTA 5's story mode. The customization options for vehicles are pretty extensive, but they're limited to cars and motorcycles. For flying vehicles like helicopters, what you see is what you get. You can still have a blast flying around Los Santos, though!
