Hate to be that guy, but isn't dashing just for PC? No, wait, I'm wrong. You need those special accessories like the Shield of Cthulhu. My bad, carry on.

As someone who's spent way too much time trying to figure this out, I can confirm - Shield of Cthulhu or Tabi are your best friends for dashing on PS4. Just double tap left or right and feel the wind in your hair!

Just double tap the direction on the D-pad. Easy peasy.

Dashing in Terraria on PS4 is all about the right accessory. You'll need to equip either the Shield of Cthulhu, which you get from defeating the Eye of Cthulhu in Expert Mode, or the Tabi, which drops from Bone Lee in the Dungeon post-Plantera. Once you've got either of these, double tap left or right on the D-pad and you're good to go. Dash away!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
