First, go to the 'Custom Life' section and create the character you want to date. Then, start a new life and hope that your custom character appears as a classmate or coworker. If they're not there at first, keep restarting the game until they're in your life!

Create your custom character under 'Appearances'. After that, start a new life and look for them in school or work. You'll eventually find them - persistence pays!
