You can't delete a game without resigning, but you can let it time out. Just don't play your turn, and after 5 days it'll be auto-forfeited.

Speaking from experience, there鈥檚 no magical delete button. Ignore it for a few days, and it'll go away on its own.

Just leave it be! If neither player makes a move, the game will eventually expire. That's as close as you can get to deleting it without hitting that resign button.

Unfortunately, there's no way to delete a game without resigning. Best bet is to wait it out if you don't want to give up!

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
