First, open the Facebook app on your device. Go to the 'Settings & Privacy' menu, select 'Settings', then 'Account Ownership and Control', and finally 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Choose 'Delete Account' and follow the instructions. Easy peasy!
You can't actually delete Facebook from the app, you can only deactivate it. True deletion needs a browser. Just a heads up!
