Just did this last week! Head to your profile, select 'Photos,' open the photo you want to delete, click on the three dots or options menu, and choose 'Delete Photo.' Works like a charm!
On your Facebook app or website, go to your profile, click on 'Photos,' find the pic you want to delete, click on it, then click the three dots in the top right corner, and select 'Delete Photo.'
