Go to the XMB menu, find the 'Users' tab, and highlight the profile you want to delete. Hit the triangle button, select 'Delete', confirm, and poof—it's gone.

Deleting profiles on PS3 is a piece of cake. Go to 'Users', pick the profile, hit the triangle button, and select 'Delete'. Done!
