Easiest way to tear down those pesky dirt walls in Terraria is by starting at the edge. You can't just go ham in the middle; Terraria likes you to be neat and start from the edges or corners. Grab yourself a hammer – any hammer will do, and start swinging at the edge of the dirt wall. Keep at it, and soon, you'll have all the freedom to redesign your base.

Man, I remember spending hours confused about this, lol. Just grab a hammer, start at an edge or corner, and make sure you're not trying to hit walls in the middle of nowhere. Terraria's a bit picky with its wall destruction policies.

Hot take: Why are you even bothering with dirt walls? Upgrade your life, friend! But, if you must know, just use a hammer from the edge of the wall. And, next time maybe go with something that screams more 'castle' and less 'dirt hole.'

Sorry to burst the bubble, but the only way's the hammer way. And remember, start from the bottom or sides where the wall meets open space. This game doesn't do demolition derby style in the middle of the wall business.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
