Easy peasy! Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Profile and Tagging > Reviewing. Turn on 'Review tags people add to your posts before the tags appear'.
It's straightforward. Navigate to Settings, then Timeline and Tagging. Set 'Who can see posts you're tagged in on your profile?' to 'Only Me'. Done!
You can't completely disable tagging but you can review tags. Go to Settings & Privacy, then Settings > Profile and Tagging > Reviewing.
Head to your Facebook settings, go to Timeline and Tagging, and then choose who can see posts you're tagged in. Set it to 'Only Me' to disable tagging visibility.
