To dock a boat in Valheim, build a dock out of wooden beams and flooring, then carefully sail your boat into the dock area and tie it up using the boat's rudder. I usually also build a small ramp to help guide the boat in smoothly!

Just crash it into the shore gently and hope for the best! Okay, not really, but sometimes I just anchor near my base and swim the rest of the way - YOLO!

If you're having trouble docking, try building a breakwater with stone or wood to calm the waves near your dock. It makes parking way easier!

The best way to dock a boat is to create a U-shaped dock with enough space for your boat to fit. Use wooden beams and poles to create a perimeter, and make sure to leave a small entrance. Sail in slowly and use the rudder to align your boat.
