You could also borrow a friend's Xbox Live account. Download the game to your console while their profile is logged in, then you can play it anytime on your own profile.

Honestly, without Xbox Live, your best bet for new games is getting physical copies.

If you have a physical copy of the game, just pop it into the disc drive and the Xbox 360 will install it directly. Old school but it works!
