Start with the basics: sketching a general outline. Focus on iconic features like Gintoki’s wild hair or Kagura's umbrella. There are also tons of tutorials on YouTube that'll guide you step-by-step!

Practice makes perfect! Draw every day and use reference images from the anime or manga. Have fun with it - the characters' quirky nature shows through in their design!

Just trace 'em. Seriously, it'll help you get a feel for their shapes and proportions. Eventually, you'll be drawing them freehand!

If you're a Gintama fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
