How to Drop a Gun in Fortnite
Dropping a gun in Fortnite is super easy! Just open your inventory (default key ‘I' on PC), drag the weapon you want to drop out of your inventory, and release it. You'll see it pop out in front of you!

It's even easier in the mobile version—just tap the backpack icon to open your inventory and drag the weapon to the drop area.
On consoles, press Up on the D-pad to open your inventory, select the gun you want to drop, and press the corresponding drop button (usually X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation).
Just throw it away! By that I mean, open your inventory and drag it out. It’s not rocket science!
