Easy peasy! Just head over to Emily's house when she sends you a letter about her sewing machine. Use the sewing machine with a piece of cloth and a Blackberry as the dye. Boom! You've got yourself some cool black clothes!

No, no, it's all about the aesthetics! Coal gives a deeper black, IMHO. Plus, it's a great way to use up that extra coal you've got lying around.

Actually, you can use any black item, not just a Blackberry! Coal works great too. Pop a piece of cloth and coal into Emily's sewing machine, and you'll be the talk of Pelican Town with your slick black outfit.
