To eat in Stardew Valley on your Switch, just select the food item in your inventory using the cursor, then press the 'A' button. A little menu pops up asking if you wanna eat it or not. Hit 'A' again for a delightful snack time!

Eating's super easy! Just highlight the food in your inventory and smack that A button. Bam! Health and energy restored. Now go farm your heart out!

Just click on the food item and press A. If you're not getting the option, make sure it's actually edible. Not everything that looks tasty can be eaten, believe me, I tried.
