It's already on by default, folks. Apex Legends wants everyone to join the fun from the get-go.
Personal experience here - double-check if it's enabled. Invited my friend on PS4 from my PC and it took us a moment. Turns out, one of us had it toggled off by accident. Easy fix though, just a quick trip to the settings.
