Just drag and drop, my friend! Put your bait in one of the ammo slots next to where arrows and bullets go. Terraria's smarter than a fifth grader and knows what to do with it when you fish.

Equipping bait in Terraria is as easy as pie! First off, make sure you got a Fishing Pole in your inventory. Then, just open your inventory and place the bait item of your choice in one of the dedicated slots next to your ammo slots. Voila! You're all set to start fishing. The game automatically uses the bait once you start fishing, so no need to manually select it each time. Happy fishing!

Actually, you鈥檙e overthinking it. If the bait's anywhere in your inventory, you鈥檙e golden. The game picks it up when you fish. No need to place it anywhere special.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
