Farming a compass in Terraria is all about patience and hitting the right spots. The best way to get one is by exploring the Underground and Cavern layers, defeating enemies like the Giant Bat, Light Mummy, and Spectral Mummy. These critters have a chance to drop a compass upon defeat. Make sure you have plenty of torches, potions, and decent armor, 'cause it might take a while.

Very low drop rate, not worth the hassle. Better trade with a friend.

Honestly, just keep grinding those bats and mummies. They're your golden ticket to compass town. No secrets, just the cold, hard grind.

Farm compass? Just set up camp in the underground layers, grab some snacks, and get ready for a long night. Those bats won't know what hit 'em. Worked for me after a couple of hours, and I got a few compasses to spare.
