Just throw some hay on the trough in the barn, easy peasy. Cows won't feed themselves outside unless there's grass, so don't forget to let them out on sunny days!

To feed your cows in Stardead Valley, you'll need to either let them graze on grass outside by cutting some fresh grass with your scythe (make sure you have a silo to store it!), or place hay on the feeding bench inside your barn. If the weather's bad or it's winter, you'll definitely wanna use the hay from your silo!

No need to overthink it - cows love grass. Keep 'em happy by letting them outside on sunny days or by feeding them hay from the silo during those long winter months. Grass is free, hay costs money, so I always opt for the natural option when I can.

Honestly, just let them eat grass. It's free and they seem to love it. Why bother with hay unless you really have to?

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
