Filling a glass bottle with water in Terraria is actually super simple! Just stand in or very near water, have the glass bottle selected in your inventory, and then click. Boom, you've got yourself a water bottle ready for all your potion crafting needs!

Just jump into any body of water with bottles in your inventory and right-click. Doesn't get easier than that!

FYI, you can't fill bottles if you're not actually touching the water. Found that out the hard way. So make sure you're standing in it or at least very close.
