Filling up the old pot is super simple, just walk up to a fresh water source with the pot equipped and hit the interact key! Make sure it's fresh water though, no salty ocean stuff!
Grab your old pot, find a water source (lake, river, pond), and press the interact button (E on PC). Congrats, you now have a filled pot!
Just go to the nearest water source and press 'E' (or the equivalent interact button on your platform). It's that easy!
