Snow Yams in Stardew Valley are basically winter's treasure, just waiting for you to dig them up! You can find them by using your hoe on the worm tiles (those wiggly lines on the ground) during Winter. They're also a possible loot when you bust open those Frost Jelly cans and Snowy Stones in the Mines, so keep an eye out for those.
