Just flip that card over and look at the bottom right corner! You'll see a symbol there - circle for common, diamond for uncommon, and star for rare. Some super rare ones might even have a star H or three stars to show they're extra special. Plus, if it's got a shiny or holographic finish, you're likely holding onto something pretty cool.

Honestly, just Google the card's name plus 'rarity' and you'll find your answer in no time. There's a ton of sites dedicated to Pokemon TCG that can give you the rarity, value, and even the history of the card.

Rarity symbols are key, but don't forget the card number! If it's higher than the listed number of cards in the set, it's usually a secret rare. Super shiny, more stars, weird symbols - those are your hints.

Tbh, all Pokemon cards are rare if you've never seen 'em before. Just enjoy the game!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
