It's super simple: start Valheim, create or join a server, then open your Steam overlay (Shift+Tab), and invite your friends directly from there. No fuss, no muss!
You don't need an invite code in Valheim! Just use Steam to invite your friends directly from your friends list.
From my experience, you really just need to run the game, get your server online, and then invite folks through Steam. Works like a charm every time!
