Finding the Old Mariner in Stardew Valley is like a mini adventure on its own! He appears on the east side of the beach, past the broken bridge that you gotta repair first with 300 wood. But, there's a catch – he shows up only on rainy days. So, keep an eye on the weather forecast in the game and make sure you've got that bridge fixed to catch him. He's the go-to guy for getting the Mermaid's Pendant, crucial for proposing to your in-game sweetheart.

Just wait for a rainy day and fix that bridge with 300 wood. No rain, no Mariner. Simple as that.

Honestly, tracking the Old Mariner down is way less of a hassle than it sounds. Fixed the bridge on a sunny day, it rained the next, and bam, there he was, ready to sell me the pendant. Don't overthink it, just make sure you're prepared to meet him when the weather's right.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
