In the lobby, tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner, then go to 'Friends.' There's a 'Recent' tab that lists players from recent games.

Easiest way: Use the 'Recent' tab in your friends list. It's right there in the friend list section.

Just add them as friends right after the match. Sometimes it's easier to catch them while they're still online!
