Fishing in lava in Terraria isn't your everyday fishing trip! You'll need a few special items to get started. First up, grab a Hotline Fishing Hook, which can only be snagged by angling in the Hardmode Jungle. If you've got the Angler and he's feeling generous, he might just gift you one as a quest reward after you've completed 25 quests for him. Alternatively, the Lavaproof Fishing Hook accessory allows any fishing rod to fish in lava. And don't forget, you can also use crates and the Underworld's unique critters as bait!

Just use the Lavaproof Bug Net to catch some Hell Butterflies or Lavafly in the Underworld. Those critters work as bait!

Honestly, just get the Hotline Fishing Hook. Makes life so much easier instead of hauling around all these special baits and hooks.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
