Fishing in Stardew Valley on your Nintendo Switch is pretty chill once you get the hang of it. First off, make sure you've got a fishing rod. Head to any body of water and press the 'Y' button to cast your line. Then, wait for a bite. When you see an exclamation mark, hit 'Y' again to hook the fish. Now, here comes the fun part: You'll see a bar with a fish icon moving up and down. Your job is to keep the icon within the bar by pressing and releasing 'Y'. Keep it steady, and soon enough, you've got yourself a fish!

For real though, just hitting 'Y' at the right time is like, 90% of the fishing game. Patience is key, and don't forget to upgrade your rod at Willy's shop by the beach for an easier time catching those tricky fish!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
