Fishing on Stardew Valley for the Switch is pretty simple but takes practice. First, make sure you've got your fishing rod equipped. Then, head to a body of water. Press and hold the 'Y' button to cast your line. The real trick comes in when a fish bites. You'll see a bar on the right side of the screen with a fish icon moving up and down. Your goal is to keep the icon within a small rectangle by pressing and releasing 'Y'. It gets easier with practice and better rods!

Just press 'Y', dude. Then play the mini-game. Easy.

Pro tip: Invest in upgrades for your fishing rod asap in Stardew Valley. Makes the whole 'press 'Y' to win' game a lot less frustrating.

IMO, fishing in Stardew Valley is the hardest part, especially on Switch. But it's all about timing and getting a feel for the 'Y' button. Master that, and you're golden.
