Fishing with bait in Stardew Valley is a breeze once you get the hang of it! First, you'll need to either buy bait from Willy's Fish Shop or craft it yourself. Once you have your bait, open your inventory, pick up the bait, and right-click on the fishing rod (if you're using a PC). Bait works with the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod, as the Bamboo Pole can't use bait. Bait reduces the time it takes for fish to bite, making your fishing trips way more efficient and fun!

Honestly, is bait even necessary? I catch plenty without it. Fishing's more about patience and timing.

Just slap that bait onto your rod and watch the magic happen! More fish, less waiting.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
