I fixed mine by wrapping it in a towel and letting it run for 10 minutes, then turning it off and letting it cool. I know it sounds crazy, but it worked for me!

Ah, the dreaded Red Ring of Death (RRoD)! First, try turning off your console, unplugging all cables, and letting it cool down for about 30 minutes. Then plug it back in and see if it works. If that fails, you might need to open it up and reapply thermal paste to the GPU, but be careful because this could void your warranty.

Had the same issue! I took out the hard drive and reinserted it, and magically, it worked. Give it a try!

If all else fails, it might be time to upgrade to an Xbox One or Series X/S. The newer consoles are pretty awesome!

Honestly, just contact Microsoft support. They usually cover the Red Ring issue even if your warranty is up. Safe and reliable.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
