Just buy a new controller. Sometimes that's the best and easiest solution.

First step, try cleaning around the button with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. If it鈥檚 still sticky, you might need to open up the controller and clean the internal parts鈥攋ust be careful with those tiny screws!

I had this issue too. Just detach the controller faceplate, clean the area with a microfiber cloth, and make sure no crumbs or grime are stuck.

A little compressed air can do wonders. Spray around the sticky button to dislodge any gunk that might be causing the issue.

First, try cleaning around the button with a dry toothbrush or a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. That usually does the trick!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
